I took my wife & a GF here for an early anniversary dinner yesterday(5/26/13). We were going to go somewhere else but we seen a sign and decided on Nauti.
The place was very nice sitting on the Bay and the view was beautiful. We sat outside under the roof. The service was AWESOME(how Emily remembered everything IS EXTRAORDINARY!!). We had crab cakes(fluffy & tasty), the shrimp & salmon was done exceptionally and a bite to it(YUM). and the crab bisque was creamy AND delicious! The service was exceptional( Emily came by 3 times to ask if everything was good.
The other customers were friendly. The music(didnt catch the band's name) was a GREAT sound!
After dinner we walked in the park adjacent to the restaurant and down on the pull-up dock to take pictures!
Overall it was a wonderful experience! Will DEFINITELY return!!!
THANK YOU EMILY!!!
Great place to sit on the back deck overlooking the water as the boats go by. Â Make sure you order food while sitting on the back deck or the waitress will not serve you alcohol. Â I had to go inside to get the drinks for my group of six. Â Forget about conversing if the band starts playing.
Review Source:Had dinner here three times this past Summer. Â It is conveniently located right off the loading dock, which makes it a popular spot.
The food..well..it needs some work. Â So does the service..and did I mention the food? Â Some very hit or miss menu items, from a hamburger being overcooked (really chef?) to some really suspect looking items on a dinner plate. Â One evening, I walked along side of the buffet...yikes..that was just SCARY looking. Â No one was obviously paying attention, with leftover food on the countertop and some very unappetizing looking food.
Only bright spot was a blackened fish sandwich one evening.
I'll give them another shot next Summer...but expectations are not high.
We happened upon this place while driving through Maryland back to Boston.
We sat outside on the back deck and was so happy we did because the view was incredible. The only problem with being out there was that we were mainly forgotten about throughout our meal. We were driving back to Boston that night and stopped in for dinner so it was more than frustrating having to wait so long for the check and then again to pay when we needed to get back on the road.
Anyways, we got the buffet. There was a pasta station and the man who made our pasta was funny and did an amazing job. My pasta was incredible! The rest of the food, was just okay.
There is a large section on the back deck where it looks like they have live music. If I lived in the area I would definitely come back for that. It seems like a fun place.
I have been here about 4 times now but I am finding lately that its not as good as the price tag. Â Entrees are pricey and quite average tasting compared to other places in the area (eg. Woodys). Â The deck area is great to sit out on and the staff are always nice but I am just not won over on the food. Â They also changed the buffet to less seafood because too many greedy people were abusing it. That's sad because that made the place a great deal.
Review Source:Since I am from North East I have finally gotten around to most all the eating places but unfortunately The Goose was after Woody's (didn't care for it). The parking is better here, music, being on the water, better food and staff. I would have given 5 stars but think whoever owns the place needs to spend a little money on a face-lift on the inside. It also wouldn't hurt to put misting fans or a misting system outside on the deck for Summer visits. Visit Dead Freddie's in Ocean City if you want ideas of how to set the outside up. Other than that here and Paradise Grill are the best places in town to eat.
Review Source:This place SCREAMS friday night happy hour!
They have a restaurant area, for which I have been to a few times.
They then have a deck bar that is enclosed and a deck bar that is outside.
Prices are moderate, but the atmosphere is great if you're looking for that outside happy hour feel. A younger crowd, and during the summer on a friday evening they usually have a live band on the deck bar.
Good times, and a good jumping off point if you want to do a local pub-crawl.
If you eat a lot and you're a sea food fan they typically have a slightly over priced all you can eat seafood buffet featuring almost anything you can imagine. Personally I'm a fried or peeled shrimp and crab leg guy, so the value isn't there for me. If you do oysters mussels and clams you may get more value from it.
The Goose has changed it's menu. Check out the Gooses website for Bands and their new menu. Coming soon, the return of the Goose's FANTASTIC all you can eat Seafood Buffet. You NEED to try their HOMEMADE SOUPS, CHOWDERS and BISQUE'S! They're Excellent. You can dine there and not LOVE the view.
