Once again, I find myself wishing for the half star option, as 3 isn't enough, four are too many. Fish fry was pretty good. I had the breaded cod, while beer battered and baked were also available. I went with the potato pancakes for a side. Flavor was good, but they were pretty chewy. Cole slaw was very fresh, and I'm not sure what the roll was supposed to be. Looked like marbled rye, had a faint maple taste to it. Whatever it was trying to be, I liked it. I would like to try their burgers, even though it appears a couple of reviewers weren't happy.
I'm no prude by any stretch of the imagination, but maybe management would like to restrict smoking to the (north?) deck? As we left through the front door, we had to walk through a bunch of smokers who like using the good ol' eff word. LOTS. Also, as a result, the front hall smells like they ignore the smoking ban. Those things don't bother me too much, but if someone had kids, I Â think they'd have an issue with it.
