    Like that parrot from a sketch in Monty Python's flying circus, the Newark Diner has ceased to be! Thud!

    They sold the diner car and closed up the business. The dining car has been loaded on a truck-bed and transported to Buffalo to new owners. Now the place is an extension of the drive through and parking lot for the more popular and wildly successful establishment Dunkin Donuts!

    Dining area is rustic. Great breakfast deal belly full special for $1.99. But watch out for coffee price $1.75. service not bad but not great either. Ordered dry toast and got it with enough butter on one slice for 4 slices.
