On my never ending quest for pho I arrived at Noodle House in Lauderdale for lunch on a Friday after reading rave reviews.   The restaurant was modern and clean, parking was a breeze, and the staff was welcoming.   They were excited to know we were first timers and curious about how we found them.  The prices were fair at $8.00 for a large bowl of their special.   Fresh and a huge serving the entire group left satisfied and raving about the experience.    Worth the drive and definitely a great soup base for delicious pho...

You must try the Combination Pho. Once you've tried that... Order the lemongrass pork-chops in the rice plate. These where my two favorites that I tried while out with friends. Phenomenal!

I really love this place! My boyfriend is Chinese but was born in Saigon and he loves Noodle House. He's always up for coming here. Usually he gets the bun bo hue and I usually get the lemongrass pork chops. The place is really clean, staff is very friendly and nice, and the food is awesome. What more could you ask for? Really great food and very reasonably priced!

This is a gem of a place worth visiting!  We found this place on Yelp, and from the outside, the neighborhood looked a bit old and worn down, so we were not sure what to expect, but we were hungry.  And voila! To our surprise, the minute you stepped in, it felt like being transported to a different world:  the decor inside is surprisingly modern and slick, with four beautiful paintings of Vietnamese women on the wall; the ambiance was modern and the lighting comfortable.  More notably, unlike many Asian restaurants, where space is usually cramped and noise is normal, we enjoyed a nice quiet table near the window.  I liked it.

Now, to the more important stuff;  we had their pho (the first day) and rice dishes (the second day, yes, we returned).  The key to the pho, of course, is the soup, which was authentic!  It was genuinely brothed with a nice aroma, so I urge you to enjoy it before adding the sauces to complete your "culinary experience" with this place.. :)  The staff was friendly, and chatty in a very personable way, not like other places in which they just go through the motions of "checking up on you" from time to time.

As mentioned earlier, we decided to go back for lunch the next day, and order some takeout for our dinner.

This is not better than Saigon City, which is less than 5 minutes walking distance away.  The soup base is slightly bland.   I only had the pho N5, which was just alright.  Interestingly, everyone working here is Vietnamses and Saigon City employs Indians and had an English menu.  It's alright.

After a little Yelp research, the Wife and I decided to try Noodle House.  The restaurant was clean and inviting.  The staff were courteous, friendly and attentive.  The food was fresh and excellent!!

Thai Ice Tea was  delicious, with large tapioca pearls lurking around in the brew.  Sweet and refreshing.

The only reason for not giving a fifth star were the summer rolls. They were light on flavor and quite gummy, perhaps not made to order.

We ordered the House Combination Pho and the lemongrass grilled pork chop.  The pho broth was delicious and was thick with noodles and meat!  The pork chops were salty/sweet/sticky and wonderful.  The only thing left were the well picked over bones.

For dessert we had Che Ba Mau- a "drink" made of red beans, yellow mung beans, green jelly, coconut milk and ice.  An acquired taste.  I thought it was OK (it was growing on me toward the end, figuratively, not literally).  Wife loved it!

This place is well worth the trip and we will be back!!

Let me qualify myself by stating I have been to many, many Pho/Vietnamese restaurants in the US., primarily on the West coast in California and Washington (LA and Seattle). This place is absolutely, unquestionably THE best PHO/Vietnamese in SoFla. The broth is extremely flavorful without being fatty. Noodles are perfectly cooked - neither too mushy nor too firm. The meat is generous and tasty. The wait staff is very friendly, and the owner is a complete gentleman. I wish more local restaurant owners were as cordial and accommodating as this fellow.

I actually regret not patronizing this restaurant sooner, instead going for some time to Pho Hoa. While that place is decent, it can't hold a candle to the Noodle House. The wait staff at Pho Hoa is almost barbaric, and the ownership seems indifferent at best.

I will be making my weekly trek from Boca to the Noodle House with a smile on my face and belly aching for delicious, authentic Vietnamese food (specifically Pho)!!!

    Cheers,
    Christian from Boca

4 1/2 stars. Located in a strip center where parking is a breeze, this Vietnamese restaurant is very authenic and offers Bun Bo Hue. The interior is decorated nicely and is supper clean.

The BBH was yummy and contained generous amounts of meat ingrediants including a pigs foot. The condiments even offered bananna shavings for the soup which is original.

The service here was spot on and friendly. Prices are higher then So Cal due to less competition but I will surely return to Noodle House for sure.

Great food, service, and prices. Easily the best Vietnamese restaurant in the Ft. Lauderdale area, and I've tried all the others.

We actually tried to go to another Vietnamese place in the area, but it was under renovation, so we tried Noodle House.  I've previously viewed their yelp reviews and the website, but the website shows something that doesn't seem too Vietnamese (has Chinese food and dim sum...), so we were a bit skeptical, but it turned out to be pretty authentic!  Once we stepped in, the decor is very "Vietnamese", and they were playing Vietnamese pop misic.  I had bun rieu, which is one of my favourite Vietnamese food, and my husband had bun bo hue.  Both were very yummy!  If I visit Ft. Lauderdale area again, I'm definitely going back!

What ingredients make for a good Vietnamese eatery?  Friendly staff, good food for the price and it should evoke familiarity, have comfort food to bring one back to the days of family cooking. This place does this for me. Having grown up in California, I've been accused by my non-Californian friends as being a Vietnamese restaurant snob. But I make no apologies for this when I see quality and value. I come here at least once a week, eating my usual faves and enjoying seeing the diversity of the patrons.  The owners have implemented specials which I find are superbly done (very tender beef meat cuts and flavorful clams in lemon grass) which would have cost significantly more at other places. If you are fortunate to meet the owner (he's very friendly), you'll find he is passionate about his food quality. Say Hi if you see me eating by myself for lunch.

Good variety of authentic food. Servers were very friendly, food was tasty. The pearl shake wasn't that great, which is the only reason I didn't give it a 5.

I found this place by accident and decided to drop in.  Pretty good "Pho" or Noodle Soup.  The owner was very helpful on order suggestions and how to mix the soup with various ingredients.

I find it funny how in Florida all the asian restaurants (chinese/viet/korean) are always right next to each other either in the same plaza or just a block away. This place is the next plaza over to Saigon.
I was feeling for Pho and was looking for anything new besides Saigon. My family usually went to Saigon as all the Vietnamese restaurants are further away and it was close to the asian market. However, Saigon is not only overpriced but the soup base isn't as good and you get quite little. I have tasted Vietnamese food since I was young from California to Florida so I know what good Pho is. So I looked up yelp and decided on this place since I read in one review they offer FREE shrimp chips which I thought was a nice touch and makes it different from all the other places. I have been to this location when I was younger but they seem to have expanded/renovated and with new owners as well. The place is super clean and comfortable. The Pho was decently priced and very large portion and they do not skimp on the meat. :D The spring roll was clean and I love how they thought to split the sauce into two dishes for me and my companion. The soup base is very good and I had more than enough left over to take home.

We went back a second time because we loved it so much. My companion went with a rice platter this time and I stuck to the pho as I wasn't feeling adventurous.
I of course tasted his plate when it came and I regretted not getting the rice platter as well IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. Everything was seasoned perfectly.

I am definitely coming back to this place and would recommend it to anyone :)

Found this place because Basilic that we normally go to turned us away because we got there right before they closed and "the kitchen was already closed" but glad they did. Noodle house's pho is more flavorful and I think their portions are bigger. Highly recommend trying the new Noodle House.

Their shredded pork is also very good.

Absolutely delicious. Incredible food. Nice atmosphere. Excellent service. Friend who had the pho said, "I don't think I've ever enjoyed the broth of a soup this much." The grilled pork was perfection, especially as the topping on the noodles (called "bun"). We have come back several times and each time is as good as the first.

I used to go to a noodle restaurant at this same location a while ago.  Well that restaurant was out of business and the new owner took the unit next door and really opened the place up. Inside is newly renovated and looks very nice and modern.  Its your typical Vietnamese restaurant; serving Pho (noodle soups) in different broth, vermicelli (rice noodle) and few other fried rice dihes.  I got the beef brisket Pho and my wife got the combination dry noodles.  Both dishes were very fresh and tasty.  The wait staff is helpful and friendly.  I like it because the place is very neat and clean. Will definitely go back and try a few other Pho's!
