Cashier and waitress/waiter are efficient and nice. Â Food is decently priced without extra meat. Â The extra meat charge is a bit much. Â The menu lists all of the ingredients that are in each meal, which makes it easier to order for individuals with food allergies. Â The food was hot, decently sized, and average tasting. Â The ambiance could use some work - no vibe there. Â The restaurant was filled with a lot of families with kids and teenagers. Â I'd return if I was in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.
Review Source:I like Noodles & Company, I don't love it.  For some reason their menu doesn't thrill me all that much, but I do sometime have a hankering for their Steak Stroganoff (Marinated steak, mushroom sherry cream sauce, fresh herbs, cracked pepper, sautéed mushrooms, egg noodles and parmesan).  It is great for quick dinner.  Another winner is the Pasta Fresca (Penne with balsamic, olive oil, white wine and roasted garlic, red onion, tomato and spinach and feta), which is my somewhat "lighter" option when noodling it up. Â
This location is very light and bright. Â It sits right off main street in Southlands and there is lots of parking off Main in the back. Â Staff is friendly and it is relatively quick service (based on how long the line is). Â It's a good stop if you are in the mood for something noodle-y.
Wow, I was really surprised, and not in a good way. We had dinner here tonight, my husband picked it up to bring it home. I had the truffle mac and cheese, which had little to no flavor. Additionally, it was so dry that some of the noodles were still crunchy. The chicken was extremely hard to chew because it was so dry. My husband's salad had just lettuce, with the chicken, nothing else that was listed as an ingredient. I haven't been to a Noodles in about 6 years, I really had high hopes. The only family member that enjoyed the meal was my 7 year old son, who had mac and cheese - and I think we all know how discerning a child's palate is when it comes to mac and cheese. They will eat it no matter what it tastes like.
Not impressed, definitely disappointed. :(
Ah Noodles & Company, you have finally come through for me!! Compared to the location on Arapahoe, this one blows it out of the water!! Me and my cousin stopped in to grab a quick dinner before going to the premier of Scream 4, and I for one was a bit hesitant to eat here after my experience with the other location I had went to. It was a little cold that night, but they have a menu hanging just outside their door to look at if you want before going in. We decided to take a peek, and one of the staff members saw us so they opened the door and invited us in!! I thought that was really nice:) Once we came in the cashier was in no rush for us to order. We could have taken our time if it wasn't for the fact we were going to a movie xD anyway, I got the Penne Rosa, my cousin got the Spaghetti and Meatballs. Being that I had a cold, I really loved the spicyness in my dish!! It was delicious!! And really cleared me up. As for the Spaghetti and meatballs, well, I only got to see them once because by the time I looked up from my plate to see my cousin's food, it was gone!! I'm guessing they were good since he devoured the whole thing so fast!! So basically I loved this place for the hot yummy food, and super friendly service. 4 stars for the southlands location of Noodles & Company!! :D
