With so many great gyro places in Denver its been difficult to pull myself away from the proven good locations and try some of these other less know locations. The Tasty Kabob has been around for awhile now and I finally had a chance to give them a try. I got the beef and lamb gyro for about $8.00. Once unwrapped the gyro was neatly prepared and looked good. The meat was not cut  the same length or thickness but was layered neatly with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, and tzatziki sauce all wrapped up in the pita bread. At most places they are in such a rush to make to gyros that they fall apart and are very messy. This was not the case here. The food was good and tasty.  There was not anything that really popped out at me but I would come back here again.
The restaurant is small had about 6 tables. Being in a strip-mall there was plenty of parking.
Overall, very viable spot for a quick and cheap lunch in Aurora.
Whenever I get the chance, I like to stop in and try chicken shawarma and various places that offer it; Tasty Kabob certainly did not disappoint me. I don't live that far away, and that's lucky because I have found myself going back several times to satisfy that craving. Oh, and that hummus -- yum!
I can't speak for much else on the menu yet; can't get past the shawarma. The staff is always friendly and ready to tend to your order - just be prepared to wait 10-20 minutes while your food is prepared.
Will be back soon!
