Really disappointing. Â The hibachi table was filthy. Burned rice stuck in every joint. Mexican cook not doing much more than banging his utensils on the cooktop. "More fire, I make more fire" was the extent of his conversation with us.
We ordered sushi to go with our hibachi. The Jay roll and a spicy yellowtail. I couldnt keep the Jay roll in my mouth. Either the cream cheese was off or the fish was. Thank God for the spicy yellowtail. The best thing about it was its heat got the taste of the other one out of my mouth. When I complained to the waitress she told me it was good. She called the owner over who told me I didnt know what I was tasting. "We never give you bad things". Would you tell me if you did? Â I asked him to take it off the bill. The waitress came back with a bowl and some chopsticks to scrape the roll off my plate, leaving the roll I was still eating there. We asked for the check and the waitress tried to take my food. "You want it wrapped?" Honestly, Id like to finish it here if thats okay with you...
I felt rushed and put down. Then I went home and got sick.
Needless to say I wont be back. For $80 I really expected more.
I'm on a temporary vegan diet. Went with a new friend for lunch and explained the the waitress that I'm vegan. I ordered a vegetable and noodle dish. But what waitress, knowing your customer is vegan, being a beef and chicken-based soup and mayonnaise based salad? But the noodle dish was tasty as well as filling. That's the only reason for the 3 stars.
