Not impressed.
No antipasto plate.really??
The appetizers they have do not match well with wine. They do offer a nut, fruit & cheese plate. Nuts with my wine? No thanks. Â
The atmosphere is nice..the food--not so much.
We have been there twice now..first we ordered the balsamic pepperoni pizza. Â I guess its our fault for not paying attention.but this pizza had no sauce. Â
We gave it a second chance and wanted to go get a few glasses of wine and share an appetizer. Â We couldn't find an appetizer that looked good to even eat with wine...at a wine bar. Â
Sorry NW Vintage. Poor menu choices & food that doesn't match.
We were looking for a place to relax after signing documents on a new home in the near by area.
Northwest Vintage is located in a very quaint shopping complex, and we were extremely surprised and pleased by what we found.
We took up on the option to sit in one of the sofa/club char sections with a fireplace. It was a very relaxing experience.
The wine selection is pretty good, I'd like to see them carry at least one Rhone style wine, because it would be an excellent paring with the style of food they have on the menu.  We started with a appetizer of the bruscheta  I had a nice hearty red and my partner had one of the specialty martini's.  The waiter who was taking care of us was knowledgeable, prompt and courteous.
We moved on to entrees I had a pasta dish with the Spanish prawns and my partner had the one of the chicken dishes on the specials list. Â The entrees were excellent. Â
We moved on to a desert, I had the creme brûlée and my partner had the caramel apple cheesecake, again they were both great.  Now I'm really picky on the creme brûlée, more so than others, my preference would have been that the custard was a bit more firm and the hard crack sugar was a bit thicker and the flaming of the sugar a bit more even
We will be back!!
