Bumpy's Tavern

Last night barely rated a single star.They only got a second star because it may possibly work out on a different night. I'll have to try it again because I know it's gotta be a fun place and people seem to like it, but last night (07/05/13) the blonde bartender completely ruined it for us.

I came in with my fiancé around 11-11:30 and there were a lot of people and it looked like a lot of fun. There were two empty barstools next to the entrance with cash on the bar and empty glasses. I asked her if anyone was coming back just to be nice, because it was quite obvious that whoever was there cashed out. She asked us not to sit there because the people there were out front smoking and would be right back. We stood around waiting for about 10 minutes because there were no other seats available. I peaked outside which was right behind me and no one was standing outside so we took a seat. She quickly rushed over to confront us about it and I told her no one was outside and if someone walked up looking for their seats we would move. She said it was "possible" they were in the back at the beer garden. I'm not sure how long she was planning on saving empty barstools for people who cashed out and "might" be coming back, or if she just had something against us. We had our one drink and left.

We will try it again as long as we can find a different bartender. The blonde girl last night basically told us she didn't want our business. If things are different I'll be willing to write a new review.

This is the best little bar in Puyallup.  

STRONG drinks.  Good food.  You cant beat the prices or the service.  

If I ever do go out in Puyallup..this is where I go.  

Always a mixed crowd--young, old, cowboys, Puyallup wanna be MMA fighters, the random cougar is spotted at times.  MILFS,skanks, nice girls, nerds.  Everybody is welcome here.

Love this place.  The French dip is pretty awesome.

Puyallup's premiere dive bar. Highly suggest the pizza here...especially on Sundays as they're $5/each!!!

Have fun with friends here...walk up to the bar for quick service and never mind the syphilis.
