Johnny's At Fife

This is a review on their breakfast items.
My husband has been here before and today I decided to give it a try. I ordered their eggs and bacon with English muffin, he ordered their sirloin and eggs special with a biscuit.
I didn't finish my coffee, it tasted somehow burnt molasses? Not good.
My eggs were fluffy but on the verge of being undercooked so they had a watery consistency, the hash browns had been stacked and kept warm so they attained the consistency of mashed potatoes in the middle. The bacon was glorious and my husband's steak was good too. Muffin and biscuit were good also but that's hardly something you can screw up.
Prices are decent and the service was great so I couldn't bring myself to give them anything lower than 3 stars but we won't be going back.

I hadn't been here in several years and was very pleasantly surprised. The clam chowder was a little thick for my liking but tasted wonderful, unlike their mother restaurant Johnny's Dock. I had the big prime rib which seems a bit spendy until it arrived. It put Black Angus to shame in size and taste. My friend ordered a ham omelet which was also great! I'll be back.

The price for the food is just not worth it, if it was not so expensive, I'd go back. I really wanted to find something that blew me away, and made me wanting to come back for more, but I didn't. It's a place that you'd want to take your grandparents too, maybe.
If I ever did go back, it will be because it is relaxed, and the service was really good,
I'm not a huge fan though...
