Parkway Tavern

Oh Parkway, how I miss living right down the block from you.

Great ambience, friendly staff once you warm up to them and they always have a delcious micro on tap at all times. Sandwiches are pretty money too for being only a tavern.

Mini-shuffleboard, darts and pool if you are bored. If you plan to go on a Friday-Saturday night, be prepared for standing room/lap seats only.

Monday nights stop by and experience the joy that is the Randall, Tuesdays bring your Koozie and bask in the taps that hang overhead. Watch their Facebook feed for special brewery nights as they are always packed but worth it!

Always a fun time here. Thurs-Sat are the better nights for atmosphere, in my opinion. Staff are friendly, as are most of the patrons who are mostly regulars.

The Parkway's taps are ever rotating and always offer a great variety of brews, including a handful of wines. The burgers are pretty tasty too, just wish they served fries instead of Tim's chips.

They house a pool table and shuffle board in the back room, plus a few arcade games, too.  All in all, this a chill place to head to either with a small handful of friends or have a shin dig with a large posse.

My favorite place in Tacoma to go and drink a nice stout any night of the week. Friendly bartenders and patrons, nice seats and tables. Haven't tried the food yet but all in all I love this bar!
