I came here on a Thursday night with a friend and the place was PACKED! Service was just okay, not super friendly but decent. Our drinks were generous. For food we shared the nachos and they were just okay. A good portion, but not 5 star. When I go back, I will try something else as this place gets some top notch reviews.
Just a warning, this place is pretty loud.
Overall - I will be back but maybe not right away.
I love the fact that this place has late night happy hour 7 nights a week. Their wells are strong and ridiculously cheap for a Friday or Saturday night. We ordered some food as well. The tiger prawn scampi is money. They give you little crostini's to dip into the sauce and put the prawns onto. You'd expect this at some bistro and not at a dive bar. The nachos also hit the spot. If you're in the area be sure to stop by as this joint is the definition of "don't judge a book by its cover".
Review Source:This wonderful restaurant is a five-minute walk from our home. Â My daughter and her husband discovered it and recommended we try it. Â Boy, am I glad we did. Â It is clean, the service is fast, and the food is excellent. Â We went on Taco Thursday. My wife and I ordered the Tacos (I ordered shrimp, my wife ordered beef) and they were out of the world good. Â Very tasty. Â The shrimp was to die for. Â On top of that, we had two margaritas each (they actually had booze in them!). Â Our bill, a measly $25 bucks. Â We left the waitress a ten-dollar tip and went home well satisfied. Â Any drawbacks? Â Just one. Â It is a very small, but popular restaurant, and seating is limited. Â But, what he heck, it rates 5-Starts!
