Yum!! Â I am now addicted to this store. Â From breakfast (delish breakfast burrito and coffee) to lunch (must try the muffuletta, grape leaves, and fried chicken sandwich!) to dessert (chocolate, pretzel Rice Krispie treat!!), I can get awesome food, fast and everyone is so friendly. Â The price is great for such quality ingredients!! Â I look forward to trying more!!
Review Source:Delicious but extremely expensive, the Oakville Grocery is one of the only places selling food outside the wineries in Napa.
We got a few by-the-pound cooked food options, a sandwich, a loaf of bread and a small selection of cold cuts. All this somehow added up to $100.97 and luckily it was very good.
The sandwich I had was the organic turkey, it really was very good, but for $13 it really had to be or else the stars would have been a lot lower. The cooked food options we got were half a pound each of mozzarella and tomato salad, cold tri-tip steak cuts and potato salad. These were mediocre and definitely not a 'must have' when visiting the Grocery. The cold cuts however, do not disappoint. The salami is cured to perfection, pork heaven in other terms. The cheeses were okay, not amazing as far as artisan cheeses go but not disappointing at all.
A recommendation isn't required here, as tourists do not have a lot of options when it comes to casual dining in Napa Valley. Way overpriced but luckily very tasty, this tourist trap is worth a visit if you could afford Napa in the first place.
