Horrible experience!
We reserved the place for my cousin's 21st birthday party here recently. We had a DJ and everything. We're a Mexican family so you can imagine how many guests we were expecting. That said, that's a lot of business were bringing to that otherwise lifeless bar.
First, these are probably the WORST BARTENDERS I have ever seen. I had originally opened a tab but luckily decided to cash out the rest of the night. When I went to close the tab, the bartender then charges the wrong credit card! (I'm sure that guy was pissed). It was the older female Latina bartender.
Then, they were inconsistent with they're pricing. She sold a bucket of domestic beer for $12 to someone from our party, then try to sell one to me for $18. I had just witnessed her selling the 12 dollar bucket and she just up and changed her mind. She was actually arguing with me on this asking the other bartender (fat dude). We ended up having to call the manager and he reluctantly had to sell it for $12 much to her dismay. The fat dude was pissed about it too. What the hell kind of customer service is that?
So then I asked her how much would a bucket of premium beer would be and she said $18. Ok fine! Domestic $12, Premium $18. I'm ok with that. Went to get more cash, came back and asked the fat dude for a bucket of premium beer then he tells me $24!!! "She just told me $18 not 5 minutes ago!"
He challenged me and then my own family had to separated us as we were headed for a fight! From my experiences, I don't think an employee is allowed to fight with customers. Here, they seem to thrive on it.
It seems that these weren't actual trained bartenders because they obviously didn't know what they were doing most of the time. Maybe they were hotel employees forced to work at the bar. Who knows? I've work in customer service before. I know how to earn a tip. These people received No tip from anybody. After the amount of business we gave them, they didn't understand the fact that volume means tips, tips mean customer service. We agreed that we will never do business here again.
Horrible place horrible service. I'd give this place Negative Stars if I could...
If you are looking for a good time on a Friday night without having to go to one of those clubs where they make you wait in a ridiculous line just for the hell of it this is the place to be. Â Casual come as you are kind of place playing some of the best music, from top 40's, freestyle, cumbias, and much more. Â Great happy hour specials and friendly staff. Â Great place to hang out with your friends and you don't have to pay $600 to sit at a table.
