Ate there this morning, service was good, ribs were excellent as before. Â Family members had prime rib, fixed just right, and a breakfast/brunch combo that got high marks as well. Â And if you're on their email list, you get coupons and discounts on a fairly regular basis -- today I saved $10 off the total order. Â Will definitely be back.
Review Source:This is a terrible place to go for a vegetarian. The have burgers but don't bother having veggie burgers. A place with great burgers can't bother to offer veggie burgers? That doesn't make sense.
They have meat, chicken or fish on every entre. I ended up with a side salad with dressing and a baked potato. Not much for dinner.
They can't even whip up a pasta primavera.
I'll never go there again
Called a week before my event about RSVP options, and was told that I could call ahead 15 minutes before my party arrived for better chance of quick seating, which I did. Â When I arrived I was told that there would be an hour wait! Â I asked to speak to a manager, who told me that they don't do 15-minute-call-ahead-seating, and that no one on his staff would tell me such a thing! Â I will not be back.
Review Source:Crappy food, and terrible service. Â It has been a few years since I visited there. Â I had the waiter argue with me over what kind of steak he served me. Â I know steak, and he was way off. Â One of two places ever that I did not leave a tip (I was paying for the entire group of seven, and I usually tip well). Â Why eat at this mediocre chain restaurant when there are so many excellent restaurants in Bloomington? I really hope this place has changed, but I will never return.
I guess I will leave a positive note, the rolls were good.
My friends and I went here for dinner one night because their rolls are really really good. With the exception of that, nothing else sticks out in my memory as being over the top--or even halfway good.
We ordered steak (mistake #1) and that's one thing I'm super picky about in a restaurant. Although they told me I could not get it rare, I said to make it as close to rare as possible without breaking the rules. When my steak arrived, it was cooked medium well--in other words, inedible cardboard.
I told the waiter and his response consisted of a lackluster apology and self-depricating mumblings. But not a new steak, a discounted bill, or another entree.
Never going back to O'Charley's.
