This is definitely a dive bar and many Orange-ites fondly refer to it as the "bar fight bar". I've spent a few St Paddy's Day's here and enjoyed myself. They know how to handle the crowds well. It doesn't have the ever-appealing scent of urine and beer that Paul's does either.
That being said, the bouncers here are extremely rude. Yes, I get it...if I was dealing with drunks all day I would probably be like that too and it's their job to take care of that kind of stuff. But as someone with a physical disability who was merely walking, I don't appreciate being pummeled into a table by one of said bouncers as they run to throw someone out with their standard choke hold. I've been to other bars where people have to get thrown out, and I've never been nearly knocked over in the process as an innocent bystander. I can't speak for the bartenders and the drinks are nice and cheap here.
They do have a pretty awesome jukebox/photo booth combo but I think unfortunately I'm scarred for life with this place. I don't want to have to worry about my physical well being when I go to bar (isn't that the point of throwing out disorderly drunk people anyway, to make it safe and calm for anyone else?).
