The District Lounge

I used to like coming here back in the day... now a days, it's too crowded.  The DJ always plays older music, which is ok, sometimes.  It's almost impossible to get your drinks fast here... the bar gets way to crowded.  I guess i'm just over this place.

Came here with a group of friends for their Taco Tuesday deal ($5 for ayce tacos) not realizing that it was actually a bar. (oops)

So you get a drink and you pay $5 for ayce tacos with choices of chicken, asada, pastor, fish and carnitas. You can pay $1 extra for shrimp too.
I thought it was pretty cool that you can put your own toppings on your tacos (don't be fooled by those gross pictures they have up on yelp!)
Overall- food quality is meh. (But what were you expecting for $5?)

The place is dingy and kind of dirty (it is a bar after all!). They had drink specials too- $5 margaritas, $4 shots of tequila and $4 beers or something close to that anyways. Limited seating - though we were able to snag a table! And some girls were walking around giving sample shots of milagro.

The crowd was a little older (probably in their 30's) with a handful of people that looked like they might be in their 20's. Not sure that I'd go here to drink though I wouldn't mind coming again (with a group of friends) for tacos and drinks some other tuesday!

It was my first time coming here. A girlfriend and I came to grab a drink. Not even 10

minutes later the bouncer grabbed the drink out of my hand causing it to spill all over

my white shirt. He said I've been cut off & he's seen me at the bar at least 5 times.

(Again, only there for 10 minutes) The place was empty & so there is no way he could

of confused me with someone else. I asked to speak to a manager and he said he

was the manager. As I'm walking out the door I see security and the bartender taking

shots at the small bar by the smoking section. Maybe someone else needed to be cut

off. Leaving I saw a police officer parked next to my car on the side of the bar and told

him what happen. He wrote up a police report for me incase I want to press charges.

He also said this bars known for people getting wasted off cheap drinks and the bar

letting them drive.
