The Old Post

The Old Post is a Missoula classic and can always be counted on for tasty , local brews, soul-warming food and their famous "Recession Special". Delicious, casual pub-style brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and their patio is truly unrivaled for enjoying a cold beer on a warm day. I would always recommend it!

pretty good fish tacos but the rest of the food is questionable, service is ok, prices are average.

I usually go here for brunch and have the veggie bene with grits and a side of sausage links.  I would give them more stars but past experiences with bad service, sub-par food and so-so cocktails only gets them two stars in my book.  

The benes are good and I love their creamy grits with loads of cheese...although the cooks could learn how to properly poach an egg...it's always half and half with The Old Post...sometimes the poached eggs are perfect and sometimes they are too done, ruining the eggs bene.  Come on guys, it's not that hard to correctly poach an egg!
