Rowdy's Cabin

I really wanted to like this place. My hubby has a cool shirt from here he got years ago so I've always planned to check it out if I was ever in town. I had to work in the area and ended up staying near here so I headed over. I was surprised that there was a sign for a Mexican place at the same entrance. I live in San Francisco where we have some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. But Mexican food in Montana? No bueno. The staff was nice though and the beer selection was good. I had a belgian white from Harvest Moon Brewing Company in Belt, MT. The decor was weird- log cabin on the outside and like Chevy's on the inside. Guess Rowdy's just wasn't what I was expecting.

Came here on a road trip...was not expecting Mexican food as I walked in (due to the cabin exterior).  The food was pretty good.  Nothing to exceptional but far better than fast food or other things you can expect to see right off the interstate.  I was really turned off when I found a hair on my plate however.

Was driving through and saw this place.  I assumed it was just bar food or whatever since the outside is a rustic looking log cabin.  When I got inside I almost started laughing.  There are pictures of cowboys with sombreros hanging off of them.  Surprisingly the food wasn't bad at all.  A great spot for lunch and it had a huge bar that i would assume would be good in the evenings.
