I love the Olive Garden, always have. Â I even worked there at one time. Â And this building is gorg, but the service (including the tables next to me) was horrendous. Â The server was complaining to us that she was too busy, that no one had filled up the salad station then the lettuce didn't have the wash they use to clean it washed out of it. Â I was very disappointed. Â Asked for a new salad and it was the same thing.
Review Source:I love me some Olive Garden and Red Lobster when I'm out in the suburbs. This is one of the nicer Olive Garden's I've been to. Steaming hot breadsticks, friendly staff, and tons of places to sit. The manager even came out to apologize because our meal took a few minutes to come out. And who can saw no to unlimited salad, breadsticks, and meaty pasta for less than $12?!
The only awful thing is that Indiana hasn't jumped on the "let's not give other people cancer" smoking ban. Â Although the non-smoking section was large enough, and far enough away it wasn't too bothersome.
If I am close to home, you will most likely not find me at an Olive Garden, but if I am out of town I know I will get a decent Italian meal. Whenever an establishment offers unlimited anything, it automatically gets a point in it's favor in my book. The unlimited salad and bread sticks earns them this extra favor point.
We took Lara's parents here to celebrate their birthdays as this is a place that they enjoy. To be honest with you, I rather enjoyed my meal too. I had fettuccine alfredo and it was pretty good. Our server did a very good job. Although this place was packed, we still we taken care of in a timely manner. I really could not have asked for anything more.
