  This place is clean and well run. Their food is excellant and the staff always friendly. The police eat there regularly. Anyone i have sent there agrees it is the best around. I normally get the cheesesteak and is is very good. They use good rolls as well

  Oliver's is the best local takeout place by far! They have delicious subs, and they use Boar's Head meat. Their cheesesteaks are my favorite cheesesteaks! They are so moist! You must get the sweet potato waffle fries with powdered sugar. Yum! The monte cristo is awesome, and the turkey and cheddar panini is so good and huge! They are the nicest people too!

  I have searched high and low for the Holy Grail of hoagies--the meaty, cheesy, fresh Italian hoagies I enjoyed while growing up in the PA Coal Region.  At last, I have found this nearly forgotten flavor at Oliver's Place, a recently opened sandwich shop only about a quarter of a mile from my house.
  
  I tried the "Real Deal", that is, their Italian hoagie with the addition of thinly sliced prosciutto and black pepper capicola.  The sandwich was packed to the brim with meat, cheese, and fresh veggies, though I had no trouble eating it due to the way it was expertly assembled.  Each bite included a little (okay, a lot) of everything.
  
  Oliver's has become known for their "Reading Fair" mushrooms, which I haven't had a chance to try yet.  They also have AYCE spaghetti on Mondays that is probably worth another visit.  All I know:  I am in hoagie heaven.  Nom nom nom nom....
