I went to this place the second day that they were open and enjoyed it (including my meal). My second visit was 2 weeks later and the waitress wasn't the best. She told us that they were out of a certain item on the menu when in fact, they weren't plus, she was slow as well as confused. The manager had come by to check on us and we asked about the waitress and discovered she was new, never having any experience at this position. Also, the item that was supposedly out WAS available so, my nephew got his order fulfilled.
Being that they have only been open for about a month. I am not calling for their heads, crucifying them or predicting them to be a "prime candidate" for the show Bar Rescue (moronic review comment). After speaking with a few people employed by the establishment. I was informed that the primary business is suppose to be the sports and the bar, where as the food is just another service to provide with the hope of retaining the clientele at the place while they are playing volleyball, golf, etc.
Yes, for only being open for 4 or 5 weeks, they have some wrinkles to iron out on the restaurant side of it, but I'm not going there to eat 5 star cuisine when, I'm actually going for the league volleyball they offer and for the future golf play in the winter.
If the female wait staff was in bikini's with hooters busting out, I'm sure the "ineptness" as mentioned in 2 reviews would have gotten a free pass. Too each their own.
Great place to hang out. Volleyball cornhole, ping pong, golf sim, etc. The restaraunt side however was awful. The taco pizza came with beans, but wasn't listed on the menu. When it was pointed out the waitress stated "I know its not on the menu that way, but it comes with beans." Thank you for pointing out exactly what I just said. The chicken sandwich had a breast that was literally smaller than half of the wings that we ordered. Those were ok, a little sweeter than I like my spicy wings, but not too bad. The cheese on the nachos were microwaved way to long, rendering it crunchy, not ooey gooey. Â The part that made us leave was when we could only find the hostess. No bartender, no servers, no manager. Couldn't even pay for our drinks so we could leave. Got a fellow patron to break a bill so we could pay the bill and leave. Lots of high def TVs and other things to distract you from the lack of attention to detail everywhere else.
Review Source:Yup, same problem. Â Clueless about the restaurant side of the business. Â Servers were inept. Â Not busy enough to get good servers and the food was spotty. Â Cool place to play sports, but eat before you go. Â If you are the owner and reading this, fire whoever is running your kitchen. Â If it is you, hire someone. Â Headhunt a good person and pay them more money.
Review Source:Interesting concept, but unless they figure out the food and service process, this place will never last.
90 minutes for mediocre burgers and pizza. Forgotten order. Inept and clueless waitstaff. Lots of people simply standing around doing nothing. And bartenders who put their fingers inside water glasses you hand them to refill.
The list goes on.
Frankly, I got the sense that this place was started by people who have no idea what it takes to run a restaurant.
Ever see that TV show Bar Rescue? This place is a prime candidate.
