First visit to Johnson City, Tennessee led me to a downtown area that is trying to revitalize. Â It was a beautiful, warm spring day, and initially, I was looking to have lunch in an outdoor setting. Â But, I noticed this restaurant, scanned the menu posted on the window, and decided to give it a try. Â The first thing that I noticed besides the openness of the floor plan was the delightful coolness upon entering. Â These folks are not shy about air conditioning, and this hot natured gal was loving it! Â I sat at the bar and was promptly greeted by the bartendress, who was wearing an adorable polka dot dress. Â She took my wine order and left a lunch menu for my perusal. Â It featured everything from sushi to burgers, calling itself "fusion." Â I ordered the vegetable flat bread pizza, which featured a white sauce, generous amounts of veggies, and cheese. Â It was tasty. Â I could only eat half because of the size, and my server gave me a box. Â The decor was modern, and the bar featured rock music along the lines of the Goo Goo Dolls. Â Quite enjoyable all around.
