My wife and I pass through Springfield every couple of months and this was our second visit to Outback. This particular Friday night, they were featuring a $14.99 surf & turf with a 6oz sirloin and small lobster tail. We both ordered these and were extremely satisfied with the quality of the food here. Our sirloins were exceptional cuts and both cooked medium rare, just the way we like them. Even though the tails were small, they were fabulous, as were the accompanying  veggies. Service was great too, as we never had more than 5 minutes before we saw our server, who made sure our drinks were always full and our bread was replenished. Terrific overall eating experience, and we'll make sure we frequent again the next time we pass through. Support staff there was also very friendly, helpful and courteous.
Review Source:This restaurant is one the greatest steakhouses I've been to. It has everything a steakhouse should have; a decent bar area, excellent bartenders, and of course, steak and beer. Two months ago I ordered a well done bacon cheeseburger, but instead they gave me a medium-well burger with no bacon. I took one bite and I thought something was off. So when our waitress came by out table, I said that my order was wrong and that accidentally gave me a medium-well burger when I said well- done. So, when my order came back it was the manager who came and gave MY order and apologized. So if you come to here. make sure you order is right the first time.
