I had breakfast there about 2 hours ago...and I'm still full.
Today was my first visit to Over The Moon and I was not disappointed. I tried the "Apple Mooncakes"....pancakes made with whole wheat flour and oats topped with soft, sweet, cinnamon apples. "Tastes like Apple Pie"! Â Yep...it does! I ordered 2 pancakes (choices are 2 or 3)...and I still left over a ton...I was sure I could finish them (until I saw them...they're huge). Â I had a side of turkey sausage that you could tell was homemade. Pure maple syrup to accompany the pancakes....yum.
Coffee - strong and perfect. Not bitter at all.
Staff - friendly, smiling, attentive.
It's fairly small but they still manage to accommodate large groups (and in the warm weather have a couple of tables outside). The baked goods looked delicious....will have to go back and pick up a few things from there at some point in the future.
I was happy to see the steady stream of people this morning. Always rooting for the locals.
This place is cheery and pleasant. The food is all made to order and made with care. I had their burger, which is made with antibiotic and hormone free beef. It was delicious, and cooked properly. My friends had a salad, veggie wrap and veggie burger, all of which were good as well. Don't be discouraged by the lack of parking; it's worth a short walk!
Review Source:Outstanding from start to finish. We were staying with friends in Saratoga who brought us here for breakfast. Could have, would have, wanted to stay all day. We shared apple pancakes, french toast (from home made cinnamon raisin bread), an omelet with home made rye bread -- thick cut, and oatmeal that was hands down the best I've ever tasted. Friendly, warm and just delicious. Of all the diners, drive-ins, dives and cafes around the world I've tasted -- this is top 5. And I can't remember what the other 4 are. Can't wait to come back through again. GREAT JOB.
