I drive by this place every day and the parking lot is always jam packed so I figured I would stop by and have a look. My date and I arrived around 9:30ish (its a bar) hoping to have a drink, order a burger or something- I was disappointed. I was told "all we are serving now is pizza, the rest of the kitchen is closed." Seemed odd and at this point we decided to do take-out instead of eating in and ordering drinks.
While we were waiting I noticed they have a number of t.v's and what looked like a poker table in the corner. It was odd at that time of night to see a 13 year old? in the bar playing poker.... Anyhow the bar itself was kind of small, they did a good job of setting up the tables and working with what they have space wise.
When we got the pizza I was surprised it only took 10 minutes. By the time we got home though (I live 3 minutes away) the food was cold. The pizza tasted like it was a pan pizza judging by the amount of grease on the crust. On my first bite or two I thought to myself, I didn't know pizza hut made a frozen pizza? It tasted seriously like it was pre-made, frozen and then re-heated. The reason I am giving an overall review of 2 stars is because it is after all a bar and they defiantly have enough TV's to qualify.
I won't order food from here again, maybe an appy and a beer if their kitchen is not closed by the time I get out of work. They also have things like poker night and karaoke that could be fun.
We live a mile away. Even that close we don't go there anymore. Their website claims the place has a fun and relaxing atmosphere, it's anything but. We assumed it would be a decent place for dinner. The food was ok but that was it. We've given it three chances. It's always the same, even at 4:00 in the afternoon. The service is bad, the crowd is unfreindly and the food isn't worth the hassle.
There never fails to be some Jersey shore wannabees and at least one lout who cannot say three words without two of them being F-bombs. I understand that ownership probably makes more money on drinks than food but they could at least attempt to make diners comfortable. As another yelper said, you are greeted with stares, silence and suspicion if you aren't a nightly customer.
We're only 40, it's not like we are whiny old people, so don't think that.  If you want an ok  burger and don't mind slow service and some butt-pipe swearing in your ear the whole time then this place is for you.
I've seen them come and go in this same spot and unless management makes this a more hospitible place this one will join the rest. Maybe the next place will be better.
I have brought my daughter during the day and have met friends there at night. Â WE all love it. Â The spot where it is located has not had much luck but I think this is what Lincoln needed. Â A nice clean place good food, good drinks and friendly staff. Â My favorite is the Asian Chicken salad.
Review Source:I had the worst experience here.
Worst server ever. He brought us one round of drinks and never came back. He also told me the kitchen was closed, then an45 mins- an hour later the table next to us gets piping hot pizzas brought to their table...wtf?
Then to top it all off, my $15.00 bill was charged to my card in addition to a mysterious $58.00. When I called to get it taken off they said "oh, well you'll have to come here and show us your credit card"...
Safe to say I will never be back.
We ended up here because we were looking for another joint I had yelped, but forgot the GPS. Â It is a Townie Joint fer sure. Â We were the only non Lincoln reidents there I believe.
Waitress Elizabeth was a little stand offish.  When I asked for the WiFi passwrord so I could check in, she said "Oh we don't give that out" in a sort of snotty way.  Bartender was a strapping lass, easy on the eyes.
The food took a long time to come out.  The first item out was the poitatoe skin appetizer.  Some had lots of bacon, some had a little, some had none.  This indicated to me a total lack of giving a f***, and did not bode well, similar to the way that Hot and Sour soup is usually a good indicator of where Chinese restaurants are coming from.
That was not the case however.  Her "Overtime Burger" wasn't bad at all.  My Cajun Pizza was actually quite good.  It had red and banana peppers on it.  Whoever made it did care about presentation; maybe they have the new guy doing the skins or something.
Sort of convenient on the way to Twin River, we will return.
Yum! This place is great! My other half and I were looking for a local pub to catch a game and some good food and came across this place as a recommendation from a friend. They just opened a few weeks ago and I believe for a new restaurant, they have it together! The food was fantastic! I had the fried pickles with homemade horseradish dipping sauce (that i wanted to take home in a vat and put on everything!), a BBQ chicken quesadilla which wasn't over done and wasn't underdone - very very tasting. You can tell these guys are using high quality ingredients.
Also love that the middle table is a HUGE ping pong table - pretty cool.
They also have a great set of nice flat screens tuned to every sport you can imagine.
Loved it. I'm thinking this may be the new sunday sports afternoon bar of choice...
I just started going here as a good friend of mine got a bartending job here. Great place, very cute, all the staff is cool and the pizza is sooo good! The only set back to me is the drinks weren't too strong and they dont have twisted tea or blue moon(two of my favorite drinks). The owner is a huge ball buster but only if he knows you can take it :) . I'm sure i have many drunken nights at Overtime in my future!
