Scurvy Dog

Teeny-tiny, extremely crowded, off -the-beaten-path-hangout for the plug-pierced, multi-tattooed, conformist/non-conformist, 20-30 something.  Great punk and hardcore music!  But be prepared to feel like a leper if  you don't conform to the crowd's rigid style aesthetic.

Night 2 of our bar crawl in the new neighborhood led us to the Scurvy Dog, and it did not disappoint,  We went early (we were walking and still not sure of the area) and it was quiet-ish.  But the proprietor was very friends and our Bartender was charming and welcoming.  Excellent selection of beers and my lack or hangover today suggests they keep the taps pretty clean.  We will surely return!

The scurvy dog is the best bar to open its doors to wonderful patrons like myself. Strong f***ing drinks, attractive and accommodating bartenders and the best playlists on nights where there is no dj. When they do have djs, the riddler makes my heart explode with joyful lighting bolts of passion when he spins the illest beats from decades past. I feel at home with my freaks and geeks and everything in between. Also, I'm glad that I don't have a 401k, otherwise I would have been born a dick. I love the scurv 4ever.
