Great Irish dive bar. They are situated right in the middle of the Providence St. Patrick's Day parade. I've never had a complaint from the food on the pub fare offerings-whether it be a burger, a reuben or corned beef & cabbage. Be careful of the dining tables, they have seen better days and some tend to be quite wobbly. get some coasters or napkins or an edition of the Providence Phoenix to steady the table. There is a jukebox when there isn't live music and multiple TV's so you can catch the Sox/Pats/Bruins/Celts when they are on. There is also darts and a pool table. It has a cast of characters for regulars and on Tuesday nights at 8 there is live Irish music seshuin (a drop in jam) led by one of the founding members of Pendragon.
Parking can be an issue as Smith St is very busy and there is no lot. I also would not leave anything enticing in plain view in your car or else it will not be there when you return to your car.
