Snooker's Sports Billiards Bar and Grill

Ah Snookers,

I want to love this place, but yet I can't.  The prices are a tad high, both for pool and for drinks.  I haven't eaten here but not sure I will since I haven't heard fab things about their menu items. Parking is a real bitch, so there is a possibility you may get so frustrated finding a spot that you end up zooming off in rage (it is intense).  They could really use a larger lot. I DO enjoy the spaciousness of the billiard rooms, the amazing selection of craft beers on draft that you can get in various sized mugs, and the staff are all pretty friendly.  

 If you are able to procure a parking spot, then most likely you will have an enjoyable experience.  I usually do.  You just have to focus on the positives and it's a swell place to spend an hour (or two) for about the same price as going to a movie or bowling.  I suppose everthing is pricey these days.

Have gone several times, so am comfortable with writing a review.

This place has a wide selection of drinks, including beers and cocktails. Given that I have the palate of a sorority girl (according to the fiancé), I love the super sweet and brightly colored concoctions that arrive. There are many to choose from on the menu! And the prices are reasonable, averaging about $6 to $7 per drink.

The menu has its stars, but there are some not-starry options. I love the fried pickle spears! The batter is crunchy and delicious and the dipping sauce is a perfect match. However, the coconut shrimp are very sweet and the accompanying mango chutney takes this appetizer to cloying heights.

When I go, I tend to head straight for the burgers. I do like their burgers, but they are nothing special. On my recent trip, I had sirloin steak tips with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The steak was perfectly cooked and the sides were nice.

I love going to Snookers with friends for drinks and to watch people play pool. The food is pretty good too, just don't expect haute cuisine.

OK went her with my gal, we are both in our 40's... but still felt very comfortable at this location. Food was pretty good, drinks were great , music was fantastic even though no live entertainment. Bartenders were very quick/attentive, people there was very friendly... NO ONE WAS A DRUNK... Sorry but I have been to quite a few bars in Providence and thats what I get to see quite a few times. I try to go to a lot of new bars to give a new bar a chance. Everything about this place was great! This was also our first date... which went very well.
