I have been coming for years. Great rotating list of beers. I know some people have mentioned that the bartenders scoff at cocktails, but I have never had that experience. Mike makes me lovely margaritas and one of the women that works over the weekend actually brings in fresh herbs for special drinks. Plus you can smoke out back and they air GOT.

I know it has taken me forever to go to E&O, but I finally made it. Better late than never, right? I have to say this dive bar impressed me. If I had to choose between its grittier West side neighbor, The Scurvy Dog, or E&O, I will choose E&O every time. It is bigger, more open, and, believe it or not, cleaner.

Like the Scurvy, though, you're going to get a chuckle if you order a cocktail (don't even try for a martini), and you have to position yourself to be able to read the chalkboard beer list. But, that's ok. E&O makes no apologies for what it is, and that makes it cool.

There is a great selection of beer on draft, and there is plenty of seating at the bar or tables along the walls. If all the seats are filled, don't worry, there is plenty of open space for standing around.

I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Wednesday night Ladies Night where all draft beers are $2-2.50. Amazing. Pair a couple of brews with a couple of $2 tacos from Poco Loco, which is almost always parked across the street, and you have yourself a wonderful Hump Day evening.
