We live in the area and have tried  this restaurant several times and have always been disappointed.  Since I use very little salad dressing , I abhor wet salads.  The bottom of the plate was a pool of water.  But I suppose that could be a personal preference.  Ordered the New York Strip,  medium rare, cooked with no butter with mixed vegetables in no butter.  Steak came well done swimming in a pool of oil.  There are a good deal of "regulars" here, which is a good thing until you are trying to get your waitresses attention to return your steak and she is all involved with these regulars.  2nd steak came back medium -rare, also in a pool of oil with no seasoning and a unappealing grey tone not at all reminiscent of piece of meat you would expect from a restaurant known as a "Grill"   If I wanted a steak thrown in a frying pan in oil, I would have done that at home.  My husband had slightly better luck with the deep fried seafood but had to request extra tartar twice.  That being said, the many regulars seemed to enjoy the place.  Too bad!  I really wanted to like it this time
Review Source:Ordered the steak and shrimp last night. Asked for the steak to be cooked rare...arrived medium plus. The fried shrimp tasted like freezer burn, and the baked potato was meh. Everything was sent back except the salad and tomato basil soup.
And a note about the seating. Get there early or you'll be standing if you want to actually see the band, or chat with the cougars around the bar.
Was here last week to see a band. Â They were good, and so is Packard Grill - I haven't eaten here in a while, but the service is great. Â I ordered wine and they didn't skimp on the pour.. Â Great place to see a band! Â Good crowd of people. Â It was fun, I'll definitely get be going back!
