Palmer's Restaurant Bar & Courtyard

Nice place. Good happy hour.  Mexican martinis are good, but hold the top to the shaker.  The waiter says that every time.

Meh. Sat us, no we sat ourselves in the bar in stools that weigh like 250!
Hostess followed and slapped down the brunch menu. Ok, we,ll see. Got a mimosa and the wife a frozen rite. Mine was horrible with warm orange juice, pulp and all, poured over cheap warm champagne.i would say it was the worst drink I ever received in a restaurant ever. The frozen Rita was as strong as any we have ever tasted, and needless to say the egg dishes that followed these "libations" , a frittata with too much sausage, burnt eggs, and limp veggies and a egg&bacon sandwich with rubberized "applewood" bacon. Like I said, meh.
All in all maybe a soft 2 for ambiance and not much more. Service was attempted, slow, and really not worth my usual 20%, but was the benefit of rounding up. Oh well, I was a college waiter once too.
We heard nothing hut brags from the local biz folks since we arrived in the area three years ago. We finally went last Sunday. Won't be back..

Loved the atmosphere...real relaxing and fun. The food is good, not great. Drinks are better than the food, so consider going for drinks and appetizers. Service is excellent and they make you feel at home. A wonderful spot after a long day in the office.
