Papa John's Pizza

I had a 50% off coupon so it is flavoring my review. Had I paid full price I would have been disappointed. The pizza is good iif you pick it up and warm. Thew flavor combination is interesting and I got the idea of a creamed spinach pizza from them. But the normal prices are more then its worth. The cheese bread is pretty bad. If you are in the area and have a coupon grab a pizza. If not .. don't bother.

I'm sitting here with a full belly of papa johns, and I am a happy man. Great price and great food.

Boo. Papa Johns pizza is generally good. Not unique, just good. After loyally buying for some time from these guys since they were cheap and close, I can't bring myself to do it again. Delivery charges are crap, they cut their usable coupons (on their website) from 8 to like 2 unless you're catering (no, I don't need food for 40 people). The service at this place has been about as much fun as the DMV and they have been way late delivering a couple of times.

So service is terrible, prices are no longer cheap, and the delivery charge is just annoying. I think this is a pretty fair 1 star given that they've had a few prime chances. I've even called to complain twice and they did nothing. Buh-bye papa johns. I'm getting off my butt more and ordering real pizza from BJs a block away.Its only about $3 more for a "gourmet" pizza
