Food is decent. Far from authentic or different than any Azteca/Ixtapa type of place as some others have said. The service is really good, but the inside of the place is dark and depressing. And the decor is completely random. It's also suffering from the same access issues Alfy's suffered from while in the same building. The salsa bar is a small cart of different sauces. If you are expecting the salsa bars that are found in the mission dist where there are peppers, radishes, cilantro, etc....you will be disappointed. I couldn't really tell the difference between some of the salsas, and some were hot just to be hot and lacked flavor.
Review Source:I have been going here for quick, tasty lunches for the last month or so. Â I must say, I have loved the food, service and they always turn the soccer game on for me. Â The daily specials have been great and you get a large amount of food for a little amount. Â I recommend trying them out.

Â I love Mexican food, and have gone to all of the places in Lake Stevens and Snohomish. Â Most are good. Â This is the best.

The Tacos Mexicanos are absolutely incredible.
The staff is friendly.
The salsa bar is fantastic.
I highly suggest if you have a chance to go!
Not sure why people are bagging on this place. Just finished eating and the food, the service and the environment were great. I'm from California's central valley so I know what good Mexican food is. Â You also know the Mexican food is good when Hispanics are eating here. Â I had a burrito with shrimp steak and chicken in it and my wife had a chili relleno a taco and taquitos; all of it was great.

I brought the kids and it was a great atmosphere for the whole family. Â They offer a grande size beer ( ~2 pints). Â Food was very good and even though we were full, we ordered dessert. Â The flan was my favorite!

We decided to try P&B after seeing the 2-for-1 lunch deal on their marquee. Â Alas, we were underwhelmed. Â The food was underspiced and bland. Â The salsa bar was a nice touch, but the salsas were also bland and watery. Â The server seemed eager to please, but we had to ask him for silverware and napkins and he forgot to take the "free lunch" off the check. Â When he finally did, he broke the news that only $5.99 of the lunch was actually "free." Â (None of the lunches on the menu were that cheap.).
Sorry, P&B; it's back to Azteca for us. Â They may charge a little more, but they don't forget the basics and don't pull a fast one with promotions.
