Ive been a fan or Paradise's muffin and sandwiches for years. Unfortunately the last two times Ive gone I have received very low quality service.
On my most recent visit, I waited for 10 minutes to order a coffee and muffin with nobody else in line in front of me. The girl behind the counter was keeping herself busy making a cappuccino and chatting with some guy sitting at a table. She could easily see I was getting impatient, but she did not even acknowledge my presence. Finally, when I was able to order she told me they were out of coffee lids.
I don't know if they have a new manager who is lax about discipline and ordering supplies, but they succeeded in losing my business.
I like the food as well, but it is like a more expensive Panera Bread. I have been here a couple times because this is where they chose to eat. I typically get a sandwich and soup. It's good, don't get me wrong. They do have outdoor seating as well. It's at the mall which has its pros and cons.
Review Source:Paradise Cafe is a lot like Panera Bread. They mainly have soups, salads, and sandwiches and they pride themselves on using better ingredients.
I ordered 1/2 roast beef sandwich (with mayo instead of horseradish sauce) and a cup of cream of potato soup. The soup was delicious! The sandwich was just okay.
You can get a cookie to have at the end of your meal... I highly recommend the sugar cookies. They are soft and 1/2 inch thick, just like a sugar cookie should be!
