Paxton's Grill

Awesome prices. Great selection. HUGE portions. All around tasty. I took my family here after having a bad experience at another cafe. This place welcomes children and the food is great.

We go he frequently. Everyone always friendly and food is really  good. Tables are very close so private conversations not possible. Only complaint is they ask you how you like your burger cooked   I always as for it medium and make a point to tell them it has never been anything but well done. And still till this day it's always well done.  So why go back, well their burgers well done are  better than  most places that can do a medium burger   Everything else is always great and be sure to try the onion rings.

Decent food, cool setting

Paxton's is a pretty cool place to go to...Has a divebar-esque type of feel to it (which I love).  I think I would like it a lot more if it were just a bar.  The food is mediocre...The panini's are above average though.  If you're going there for food, that would be the only thing I'd probably get.

The inside decor is actually really cool...I love the exposed brick and the old-timey feel it has.  The problem I have with Paxton's is that they try to cram too many people in, and most of the time it is just an uncomfortable experience.  If I were reviewing Paxton's as just a place to have some brews and watch a game I'd probably give it a 4 or 5, but alas...

For my money, I'd rather just walk a few more steps and go to The Works.
