  Very good soups, especially the chipotle seafood. Sandwiches are very fresh and all good. The skirt steak sandwich is my favorite. Prices are somewhat high but that is to be expected in Hopewell. Would return again for lunch, nice atmosphere and great food.

  delicious salads, but pricey ($42) with 3 gourmet sodas......Interesting lunch atmosphere, almost comical with the table seating OCD thing happening, Seinfeld material for sure.  Great food. Maybe opt for take-out and relax outside on a bench.

  This is my favorite place for lunch, hands down!  The quiche is the best I've had and they serve a wonderful chipotle chowder on fridays.  They have many wonderful reviews on yelp, but inexplicably about 7 are filtered(?)

  My husband and I used to live in Hopewell and this was our go to place for lunch all the time. Anytime someone came to visit, any excuse to go there at all, we'd go! Everything is awesome. And the most fabulous potato salad I have ever eaten anywhere... ever! So good! My favorite sandwich is their french dip, fantastic!

  On a fluke we went on a weekend vacation last week to Hopwell,NJ (cute town & close to NYC) & stopped by the Peasant Grill to grab a quick bite for lunch.  It looked cute from the outside but we had NO idea what we were about to experience.  Without being too dramatic, it was FABULOUS!  3 of us tried:
  1)  the spicy crab cake sandwich w/ spicy aioli - delicious!
  2)  Chicken Panini w/ fresh roasted red pepper, mozzarella & pesto - delicious!
  3)  Turkey club - very good! (wish I tried something more exciting)
  Each plate came with a side salad (lots f choices)and we all ordered the potato salad b/c we thought it was a safe bet...boy were we way off!  It was the BEST potato salad we ever had.  It seemed like there might have been hard boiled egg yolk in the the mayonaisse base b/c it was so rich & creamy...that along with fresh dill, little bits of pickles, maybe capers...I can't recall now but It was devine.
  Everything they make is made fresh, and made very thoughtfully.  
  Then, of course, we had to bring back a few desserts for later...The lemon bars were fresh, bright & sweet and the carrot cake was moist & heavenly.  All of their desserts are homemade fresh and irresistable.  We all were very thankful for finding this gem and can't wait to return.
  The only downside is...they are only open Monday-Friday.
