On a typical over-scheduled evening my 17yo son & i stopped in for a quick bite between practices. Clean & appropriately decorated, the young guy behind the counter was polite. The food was Fast-Tex-Mex with very fresh ingredients. By no means was this a lingering meal. For the price and time allotted, i was pleased. A great alternative to pizza or the local fast food joint. Fresh, simple, tasty & decently priced. Hopefully, the curse of previous failed businesses in this location has passed, A nice addition to N. Main Street.
Review Source:I have gone here quite a few times and while I really wanted to like it, I just can't order from/eat here anymore. Â While the food is ok (nothing great about it), the service is horrendous. Â The fact that it takes 30 min to get 2 burritos made up is ridiculous. Â And there have been many times that I have called in an order only to arrive there to pick it up and find out that they ran out of items (ie-cheese, pork, black beans)! Â How does a place with only a hand full of items on the menu run out of staples like I just mentioned. Â Sorry but I'll be searching for another "mom & pop" mex place.
Review Source:As the name implies, this small joint is probably run by a couple of gringos. So don't expect an authentic Mexican experience. But I will say the ingredients are fresh and quite tasty.
Being from California and spoiled by a number of great neighborhood burrito places, my standards are high, so this place may be closer to 4 stars. It's definitely the best burrito in the immediate area.
