Pros:
Large quantity
Wide selection
Pho Soup  (beef broth) was fairly good other than the beef (see below)
Other noodle dishes were very good
Cons:
Pho was a little on the high side (lack of competition in the area)
Beef was a little tough and mostly tasteless
Verdict:
Would definitely go back there and try the other Soup and Noodle dishes.
Have eaten here many times. And have been pleased.Tonight - dined at 8 p.m. and told server that at mid meal I'd like to order a TO GO dinner as well to bring home for my hubby. The place closes at 9 p.m. as stated. at 8:40 p.m. they were turning away customers saying they were closed. Server was terrible. They would rather visit behind the counter than take care of customers. I had to walk up to place to go order, which was a large Pho with sliced beef. When we got home, there was a bag of RAW MEAT with onions etc.! Quite obvious they had cleaned the kitchen and weren't about to cook again. Â Our special No. 1, which we ordered 3 of, had no carrots, no cilantro, nothing like usual. They were hovering over us to clear our table. If I had wanted to cook, we would have stayed home instead of driving 30 minutes to get Vietnamese food. I wish the normal mgr gentleman had been there. He always checks on our meal, makes sure we are happy. YOUNG PEOPLE HAVE NO BUSINESS RUNNING YOUR BUSINESS - - - will be a long time before we come back and we will not recommend it to anyone anymore.
Review Source:This place is a gem of a restaurant. My friend and I have "pho days", AKA any day where its gross and rainy out a big bowl of steaming pho will make it better.
The food is delicious, the servers are really nice, and the decor is simple and tasteful. Do I believe there is better Viet food in the area? Maybe, but what pushes this place from 4 to 5 stars is the atmosphere. I have always had attentive and accommodating service and the dining room is peaceful and cozy. Add the authentic, tasty food at reasonable prices to that mix and you've got a loyal customer.
The pho is the menu star (its in the name and all), and its worth the trip every time. Big, rich, flavorful broth paired with a generous helping of noodles, just like pho should be. I am particularly fond of the tendon, and sometimes get an extra helping if the mood strikes. The papaya salad is freshly grated and has a nice heat to it. The avocado shake is perfection: sweet, cool, and creamy with unmistakable fresh avocado flavor. I get it every time I come.
The cash only thing isn't really  big deal, just make sure you go to the ATM beforehand. There's a PNC in the same shopping mall with a drive through ATM, so you can always run out and grab some cash if you're short. They also don't have super late hours, so be sure to arrive well before the 9 PM closing time.
