Unfortunately, at the latest company dinner, this place has caused me and at least one other coworker to fall ill, so therefore, I am forced to bestow it the dreaded one-star rating.
The outcome is not surprising as the quality of their food seems to have significantly gone downhill since our last visit.
For the appetizer, I had the antelope carpaccio and found the meat, despite it being raw, to be tasteless. While greens were included, the moisture from the greens watered down the little vinaigrette included with the plate. More acidity would have made a big difference.
The salmon, which was cooked correctly as medium-rare, was absolutely tasteless. The quinoa was flavorful when mixed with the el Corazon sauce, but the sauce had no effect on the flavorless salmon.
Dessert was disappointing. While some of my coworkers were satisfied with their choices, I found their creme brulee to lack sweetness despite its being carmelized. It regrettably featured the obvious use of frozen or non-fresh, thin slices of strawberries; such fruit is something I would find at a fast food place serving dessert, not an establishment charging $30 or more for an entree. Coworkers who ordered  the raspberry chocolate dessert received something that tasted more like coffee than chocolate.
The only explanation I can offer for the lack of taste is that this establishment feels it quite appropriate to use "improperly aged" ingredients in their dishes.
I would give this place another one star for the drinks as they  reportedly ranged from satisfactory to excellent, but I simply cannot ignore the fact that my stomach reacted badly to the food.
Frankly, I will definitely NOT return to this place except for work functions, unless the owner or general manager of the restaurant responds to this review with an explanation of how things might change in terms of the food.
In the meantime, if you must try this place, do not order anything raw, or just come here for drinks.
