I've been here a few times over the last few years on Friday nights. The place is small but has a nice, simple atmosphere. If I recall the drink menu has some interesting drinks. I usually end up here after a night where happy hour goes too far. The girls in the group say they want to dance and we end up here. Now, bc I'm loaded by the time I get here, I can't tell you what time I end up here BUT whatever time it's been, the music has been good. It's a mix of current pop/r&b and classic r&b/hip-hop, with the later being my favorite.

Its was dead.

Well....it was 8pm...so a "lounge", even a New Brunswick "lounge" would be dead.

Scantilly-clad Rutgers (probably) students bartending and waitressing.

$7 vodka sodas.  Pop music blaring.

I just can't get into this place... As many times as I've gone out in New Brunswick, I've rarely ever came in here. The few times that I have stopped by haven't been bad, but it hasn't been too awesome either. One of the main issues is it seems to be just a little too young. And by too young, I mean barely 21 young. Because of this, you get a little bit of a college party vibe and I think it likely drives away some potential clientele.

The venue itself is pretty nice and looks like the kind of place you would have the young professional crowd. But you end up with a different experience once inside. It just seems like an extension of the Easton ave bar scene, making this a high end college bar.

If the clientele changed, I think this place would do better. It's in a great location in the newer part of New Brunswick and there are young professionals moving in pretty consistently now. I think they need to cater to that crowd as I think it would make them more successful and ultimately being in more money.
