The Stress Factory is a staple for comedy in the New Jersey area. I've been to dive clubs and new theater style clubs, but the Stress Factory may be my favorite venue for comedy. They do it right. The Stress Factory constantly hosts some of the biggest acts in comedy. Almost every legendary comedian you can think of has preformed here. The regular feature acts here are also usually killers. One thing is for sure, someone will make you laugh and that's the most important thing.

The feel of the club is just right. The atmosphere is perfect. You get the feel of a legendary NY basement club without being cramped in a small area. The place is fairly large with multiple seating options. There is a bar area, a raised back area, a floor area, and tables right next to the stage.

The food and drink are also above par for a comedy club. Some clubs serve you frozen fried foods that Ronald McDonald would laugh at. Some clubs have gourmet restaurants attached to them. This club falls in between the two. It's definitely good quality grubbing.

The Stress Factory Comedy Club is a great place. Good acts, good food, and usually a good crowd.

    ps.

If you're into pregaming, they have an outdoor garden area you can drink in. They open a few hours before each show so people can drink. They also have those tailgate games people play like beanbag throw and ladder ball.

Had a great experience here. I went to see Jon Oliver with my boyfriend last week.

Quality of the event: Phenomenal. Vinnie Brand is pretty funny himself, but Jon Oliver KILLED it. He was hilarious. The place is very quaint and you can fit a ton of people in the club.

Ordering: When you order, you must get at least 2 items per person. I didn't really like that requirement, but drinks are included in the 2 items, so it's really not that bad.

Food: We got two Root Beer floats (it was root beer flavored vodka, and some other ingredients). We shared an appetizer, it had a mix of jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, curly fries and chicken fingers. Unfortunately, we got a bunch of curly fries, and only two of each of everything else. I would have rather have more of everything else and less of the curly fries. The chicken fingers were pretty good. For dessert, we shared an ice cream cookie sandwich with vanilla ice cream. OH MY GOD, let me tell you, it was heaven. The cookie was a bit tough, and it took a lot of manpower and will to cut it with my spoon.

Price: Root beer floats were $11 each (remember, these are alcoholic). Ice cream sandwich is like $6, which was well worth the price. I believe the appetizer was around $12, which I will never order again. It was too pricey for little food.

Will definitely come again though. I had an amazing date with the ice cream sandwich, I mean, my boyfriend.
