Houlihan's

I am not a big fan of chain restaurants, but I like this Houlihan's. I recommend completing the form that allows Houlihan's to send you free coupons. I got a free appetizer the first week and everyone gets $15 free entree on their birthday.

My favorite starter is spinach dip with cheesy lavosh- basically a flatbread pizza/pita cover in cheese with tomato chucks and cilantro that you dip. It is best ordered for 3+ people, as it is quite large. French onion soup with provolone and crouton comes covered in a bowl with cheese.

Otherwise, I have tried their classic chicken caesar salad, quite large and just as one would expect. From the entrees, I usually alternate between the grilled rosemary chicken or stuffed chicken breast. I got the tuscany lemon chicken once, but since then, it has been too heavy for me (i.e. alfredo pasta dish basically). My friend got the chicken parmesan, which is apparently on par with Olive Garden chain.

I usually split the entrees with someone, as they are too large for me. And I can't seem to ever get to their desserts, though I tried the Kamikaze Brownie sundae= moist chocolate-ness. I really like their martinis and cocktails. A lot of people come here in large groups to eat wings and watch TV/ sports. Service is always great.

The only thing I'm upset about is all the familiar faces we knew, are all gone now. The managers, waitresses, and bartenders. All have been replaced and moved on. Food is good, drinks are good, nice atmosphere to chill in. They also have games on tv screens that you can play with personalized devices which is cool. I'd recommend.

Is what slightly above average chains can be, at least it's clean.
