A hidden gem on the south side!  I go there for lunch all of the time and have never been disappointed.  The only problem is the club house closes in late October and doesn't reopen until March.  This place should be open year around.

If you've never been to Pier 37 (a Phil Stefani Restaurant) or the Harborside International Golf Course, it's in a BEAUTIFUL setting in an unexpected spot. It's open to the public, and you can go there just to eat (breakfast/lunch/early dinner only-they close around 6pm when the last of the golfers are in)... It has an interesting history, too. It used to be a landfill... now it's a Scottish-style golf course with prarie grass and it butts up to the lake. The clubhouse itself is a nice prarie style building.  They have a big indoor seating area, or if the weather is nice you can sit outdoors and have a nice view of the golf course and lake.

This is one of the best food options in the Pullman area.

Their breakfast is good...  I like the breakfast burrito, which is huge...  Bloody Mary's are usually too strong for me (a lot lot lot of Absolute!)

I really like their lunch too... They serve home-made chip/fries with just about everything.  I like the buffalo chicken wrap, though the burgers and other things are tasty too.

Service can be good or average depending on who you get... Ask for Caren by name!

(If you've never been and need directions it can be a tad bit confusing getting there even though it's right off the highway...  If you get off the 111th St exit, go left.. It's on Doty Ave, which is the frontage road east of the highway. to get to it, you actually have to go back towards the highway on ramp but then cut to the right just before you enter the actual highway, then another right.. it's easy to spot, it's the only thing there and there's a big gate.  If for some reason you've never seen historic Pullman, on your way out of the area stop by... Go a few blocks down 111th past the Shell and Citgo and it's on the left right there.).

P.S., the Yelp map of the location is wrong, by several miles.  If you're looking at the map, Harborside International is a big green park area marked on the map, just next to 111th St and the Bishop Ford/94.  (Their address is kind of strange because they're the only ones there, Google Maps gets it wrong?)

Pier 37 is the bar/restaurant at Harborside International Golf Center. If you're a golfer and you live in Chicago (the actual city, not Schaumberg) then you should be familiar with it.

It's a Phil Stefani joint, so the food's pretty good. Try the meatball sub or maybe the turkey club. But all that's beside the point. They don't have any beer on tap -- bottles only. Let me say that again. A GOLF COURSE RESTAURANT DOESN'T SERVE DRAUGHT BEER. Yeah, I just threw up in my mouth a little, too.
