Good atmosphere, good selection of drinks and beer. Â We had the snow crab and grouper sandwich. Â Crab was especially good, arguably great. Â Grouper sandwich was good and came was hand cut fries. Â Those fries were great and would be "awesome" if they didn't overlook them slightly. Â Price was fair. Â 2 for 1 margaritas were good, though the glass was small. Â Service was just okay, but we sat at the bar and the server seemed more interested in talked with co-workers or friends also seated at the bar. Â
They also seemed to have a decent selection of fresh seafood to take home and cook yourself.
We would return!
Went here with my wife and kids while visiting FMB. I was really surprised that the food was excellent!! I had the grouper sandwich and my wife had the soft shell crab and I got to tell ya, just as good as restaurants that were twice the price. Service was good and staff was friendly, unlike some other places I went to. My wife and I both liked the decor as it gave our kids lots to look at. One perk about here was that the kids ate free and the prices for the adul meals were reasonable. Overall I would recommend it. We went in early, around 3pm.
Review Source:eh you can do better in the area. the endless happy hour of 2 for 1 drinks all day every day just makes you realize they doubled the price to give you a bad margarita... chicken sandwich was a mess. most seafood doesn't seem to be local. the baked beans were tasty, only thing I liked. I like the cheap tacky atmosphere though its crazy but it works. come here for a beer and to hang out not a full meal.
Review Source:This place has appeal for a couple different crowds. It's kid friendly. It's also got a large bar, 2-for-1 drink specials and TVs for those looking to have some drinks. And it also has a nice view of the bay, but I wouldn't try to impress a date by bringing them here.
Service was stretched a little thin but very friendly (and very good looking. Is that just a Florida thing?).
Food was OK. I had the blackened grouper sandwich. As another Yelper noted, it was a bit on the soggy side. If the bun had spent another minute or two on the grille, it would have made all the difference. It tasted pretty good though after adding some of their hot sauce (careful it's super hot) and some tarter sauce. Unfortunately, the sides could not be saved. Fries were unseasoned and burned. Baked beans tasted like they were out of a can.
This place is almost great, but needs some refinement. One star for the local fish, another for the strong drinks, and a third for the cute waitresses.
Good food for the price. The crab is definitely over priced and none of which seemed local.... Flying in Alaskan King Crab all the way for $29.99??? Seems like a waste.
Had the grouped which was fried but came in little nuggets...? Would've like to get a whole file and less breading. Would love to see more local selection which is next to impossible seemingly in this area anymore. What happened to alligator?
Our server was great and very attentive.
The last few years my family and I have made it to pinchers one night every year. We love the food and atmosphere, some of the best sea food in the area. However, our last venture to pinchers did not go as well as prior experiences. Our waitress was awesome but we could not say the same for management.
A wing nut was found in our order of french fries. Luckily nobody bit into the nut and found it before any teeth were lost or before anyone choked. We were very disappointed to say the least. Knowing the waitress was not at fault she was very apologetic and angry. The manager came to the table and only frustrated us even more by just offering a salad or something from the dessert menu to show he was sorry. The manager did not give us any reasons as to why there was a wing nut in our french fries but the waitress ended up doing his job and giving us an explanation. She said it was from the potato slicer, and by the sounds of it this was not the first time this has happened.
The manager eventually took the plate off of the bill, but we felt a little more could have been done with due to the severity of the situation.
First off; KIDS EAT FREE all day everyday! We sat near the window so we had a view of the water. Our daughter loved seeing the water and all the birds. The beer was cheap, and the Soft Shell Crab Po Boy was amazing. The Corn & Crab Chowder was awesome, along with the burger and fries. Aside from the food, the customer service was excellent (something that's hard to find these days). The overall experience was a memorable one. We will be coming back!
