If you're looking for something healthy, I suggest you go somewhere else. If you're looking for some good roadside eats, this is the  place for you. This seemed to be the place the locals go, evidenced by the steady flow of customers.
Stopped here with my little one for an early dinner. We ordered up a number 4, 2 foot longs, fries and a soda along with a 1/4 pound hamburger for just over  ten bucks. Had no problem waiting the five minutes to prepare our meal. When our number was called, we wee presented with some freshly made, hot and delicious food. Hot dog buns were lightly toasted adding to my delight. Plenty of food for the both of us without over doing it. Little Miss Thing even had room for a Ninja Turtle Ice Â
Plenty of outdoor seating, though some of it is right at the roadside.
I'm obsessed with burgers. Ordered a cheeseburger with fries the other day (a very healthy lunch, I know), and it was solid. Reminded me of one of the burger stands from the town I grew up in in the Bay Area (CA). Nothing fancy here, just the picnic benches and all the locals gathering for some comfort fast food and ice cream. Love it.
Review Source:We love this place. Â Old fashioned drive-in ice cream place. Â Pirate's Cove serves Hershey's ice cream, which is great and very reasonably priced. Â They also serve awesome burgers, dogs, chicken fingers, awesome onion rings! Â Traffic noise can be a little much due to the proximity to the road, but it's worth it.
Review Source:A cute little summer eatery. Lots of fried food, and great place to get an ice cream. Plenty of traditional Hersey hard serve flavors, and lots of traditional, and funky (like tutti frutti) soft serve flavors. I tried the brownie sundae, and it was delicious! The brownie was huge, fudgey, soft, and tasted homemade! I had the chocolate peanut butter ice cream ontop, which was great too. Kind of in the middle of nowhere, but if driving by, worth a stop. The prices are very reasonable.
