I feel like I'm in a dungeon in this place.. No windows!! Aside from that and the lack of any noise (no background music, piped in or otherwise) it created for a very unpleasant experience. Â The pizza here in the Greenwood location was slightly less greasy than the pizza in Franklin (for some reason my kids love it) but as far as service or ambience, it was non-existent. Â Won't be going back. Â Sorry guys!
Review Source:I love Pizza King, but I've had what Muncie has to offer, and this location doesn't quite make it. Â The crust was not as crispy as it needed to be, and the cheese was greasy and not very flavorful.
The decor threw me off as well. Â The place is decorated like and old time saloon on a budget, and it doesn't quite fit.
If you want good Pizza King, take the drive to Muncie.
First to review! Â OMG! Â
I've known the goodness of Pizza King for decades. Â Enjoy the pizza in the dining room--bring plenty of quarters for the juke box and video games. Â Or get take out. Â Either way, the unique pie is a treat! Â Their crust is thin and crispy with a nice amount of salt. Â The sauce is a little on the sweet side. Â The pizza is sliced into about a million little rectangles. Â The pepperoni is diced and delicious. Â Their ice--I don't know how to explain it, but I have friends who go here just for their ice. Â Anyway, you can enjoy the ice with a nice cherry or vanilla coke.
