I think this place is pretty okay. I wanted to like it a lot, after hearing:

    A. It's locally owned. Which is a pleasant surprise amongst a sea of chains in Greenwood.

    B. It's won Best of the Southside several years in a row...but no offense...how many good restaurants are actually on the Southside? Is it really that hard to win?

    C. I've been told that they use local ingredients, which makes me happy.

Everything was very fresh, as it should be. It was about a 30-40 min. wait for the food, which to me is a good sign. I was dining with 8 other people though, and not everyone was happy about waiting that long without being served bread (other tables around us received bread). I ordered the martini sampler while waiting for my food, which comes with 5 mini martinis of your choice. I'm not a huge martini fan, but this is what they are known for supposedly. Having said that, I'm probably not the best person to review martinis, but they seemed pretty average. Nothing mind blowing. Although they do have a wide variety of martini choices and they apparently do half price on Thursdays. I will admit, I'm a bit spoiled when it comes to the abundance of good restaurants and alcohol that we have in Bloomington. I had the meatloaf which was made of prime rib and was served with mashed potatoes and green beans. I figured it would be very similar to the upscale meatloaf I've had at Scholar's, which is also made of prime rib, but it was not close at all. It was extremely salty and the onions overpowered all the other flavors. The mashed potatoes were nothing special and pretty bland tasting. Sadly, the green beans were the best part of my meal. Most of the people I dined with ordered steak, since the server talked it up and compared it to "the big guys downtown". I'm not sure he should have done that, as it gave everyone very high expectations that the steak just did not live up to. I tried some of my fiancé's and just like everything else, it was very average. If you order appetizer, one drink, entree and dessert, expect to pay $100 per person.

This is one of my new favorite places...

They offer an excellent Bone in T-bone steak, this piece of meat has an excellent flavor. I would recommend the mac n cheese as the side... Spicy goodness!

They have an excellent drink Menu ranging from local brewed Sunking to Shots in ice shot glasses.

They offer a nice out side seating area if you do not want to set inside the luxurios resturant.

I'd plan $40 per person... but if you plan to drink a lot go for $60

My absolute favorite restaurant ! The ambience and atmosphere is romantic. The food is delicious and the service is incredible. Great place for a special occasion or a casual night out. The Rat Pack inspired theme is also a nice touch. I can't say enough about this hidden gem.
