I went to Stone Creek with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. I got the Jumbo Sea Scallop Risotto, which is great if you have a bit of a sweet tooth like me. He got the Cajun Surf and Turf, which was more on the spicy side. We shared the Chocolate Mousse with Raspberry Sauce for dessert. It was delicious and we highly recommend both! The customer service was excellent and the atmosphere was very relaxing. It was extremely busy while we were dining, but we didn't feel rushed and were able to enjoy each other's company.
Review Source:Went on Valentine's Day and experienced the best and worst of the restaurant. Â The worst was they were incredibly overbooked. Â Made reservation online, and received call during day to confirm the reservation. Â Discovered why when we arrived - full dining room with overflowing waiting area and 30 minute wait even though we had a reservation. Â Told we could wait at the bar - which also was SRO. Â Took 10+ minutes to get a drink at the bar. Â Finally was seated in the basement (a first for us) and waited another 20+ minutes to get a server to get us a beverage and take our order. Â
Once our food arrived, it arrived at a good pace and was delicious. Â This was the best of the restaurant - the food. Â The bread and oil was as good as I recall, salad was tasty and portioned well. Â Both of us thoroughly enjoyed our entrees - they were flavorful, perfectly cooked and portion size was perfect.
I hadn't been to Stone Creek in years. Â I stopped in for a quiet dinner alone at the bar, but after taking my seat, I realized about half-of-a-dozen of my friends were there. Â I was in the mood for pork-chops, and I am glad I did! Â Best. Pork. Chops. EVER! Â Seriously, I couldn't believe how delicious they were. Â They also have Sun-King on tap. I will be adding this place to my regular haunts.
Warning: this place is a little pricey, my meal and beers were $35+
