3.5 stars but there really isn't much else like it in Worcester and certainly nothing like it in this neighborhood so I'll round up.
Playoff Arcade is an arcade in the most unlikely of places hidden behind a building on Cambridge St. The space doesn't feel like an arcade in the slightest it feels like what it is, a re-purposed office space that someone who was an arcade enthusiast turned into an arcade for the neighbors. Playoff doesn't have a huge amount of games as far as an arcade goes but it has your classic skeeball, air hockey, pool, and a bunch of other stand up arcade games. It even has the prize counter where you trade in your tickets for some trinket of choice. They are open 7 days a week and are open till 11pm on Saturday so chances are you can make your way down.
Last time I was here I remember the arcades being fairly cheap which is a plus. Personally I'd drive a little more and go to Jillian's Bar/Pool Hall/Arcade but if you're with a bunch of kids and want to save a little money or have a birthday party somewhere a little more intimate Playoff is your place.
